Another piece of writing gets published..

In Writing Workshop first grade was working on letter writing. They learned the five parts of a letter, and about the various types of letters they can write. We wrote letters to friends, asked for advice, wrote letters of persuasion, invitations, and thank you's. Once they mastered writing different kids of letters they chose one they would like to publish. We worked on editing and revising, and then celebrated with a publishing party, and enjoyed some treats !!!
