Comparing Plants

First grade is continuing their plants unit. We compared different plant needs...how they are alike and how they are different. We looked at plant roots and saw how a plant's roots were overgrown and needed a larger pot to grow in. We also compared and contrast different plant leaves, stems, how each look, feels, etc.
