Measuring With Non-Standard Units

In Math we have moved into a new unit which focuses on measuring with non-standards units of measurements. The first graders were learning about length, using crayons, paper clips, caps, pencils, and erasers. After our mini-lesson the kids went around exploring items they can measure with the non-standard units. They had a great time!
